Anicdote #3

My step-grandpa, George, loves hanging out with my family. Every year we go on a ski trip to either Utah or Canada. George makes sure everyone can come. He was also the person who taught me how to snowboard and he is 70 years old. He all ways takes the whole family out for dinner. It's always a great time when we spend quality time with him.

Biography Anicdotes 1, and 2

Anicdote #1

My step-grandfather had a very hard time growing up. His father was very mean, and distant. My step-grandfathers father would go on business trips lasting over 3 months, and when he would return home from these trips he would go out, drink heavily, and cheat on my step-grandfathers mom. Being an only child and having a distant father, as well as an alcoholic mother led him to feel very alone, and depressed for a large portion of his childhood.

Anicdote #2

My step-grandfather has his family over for dinner at least twice a month. He also loves spending time with myself, as well as my cousins. As well as spending time with all of us, he loves spending one on one time with us. Every year my step-grandfather and I have made a tradition of going to the Sacramento jazz festival. We both have similar interests so it's fun to spend time with him, and i'm sure he feels the same way about me. Even though he is not my biological grandfather he still treats me as if I were.

Controlling Impression

My step-grandfather never had a father when he was young. His father was very distant toward him and his mother. Because of this my step-grandfather grew up with the belief that family is extremely important, and he spends a lot of time with me and my cousins.
