Anicdote #1
My step-grandfather had a very hard time growing up. His father was very mean, and distant. My step-grandfathers father would go on business trips lasting over 3 months, and when he would return home from these trips he would go out, drink heavily, and cheat on my step-grandfathers mom. Being an only child and having a distant father, as well as an alcoholic mother led him to feel very alone, and depressed for a large portion of his childhood.
Anicdote #2
My step-grandfather has his family over for dinner at least twice a month. He also loves spending time with myself, as well as my cousins. As well as spending time with all of us, he loves spending one on one time with us. Every year my step-grandfather and I have made a tradition of going to the Sacramento jazz festival. We both have similar interests so it's fun to spend time with him, and i'm sure he feels the same way about me. Even though he is not my biological grandfather he still treats me as if I were.

Through the first through third anecdotes you portrayed your step-grandfather as a generous and enduring person. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI agree that you portrayed your step-grandfather is a loving person and believes that family is important
ReplyDeleteI think that there were great anecdotes but try to get in more detail of it. But other than that it was really good you showed that your grandfather is a very nice person.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Lodi, I like the way you organized things, but do try to add a bit more detail to it. Otherwise everything seemed good to me(:
